Oh my god this major championship is going to be a doozy. I wish I could play even one hole to check out the environment of this course. As the players ran through their practice rounds, more and more reports started to come out about the specific conditions of the course. Let’s just say, Oakmont will be live this week and it’s bringing it.  Numerous golfers, caddies, and analysts alike are in awe about the rough length and the speed of the greens.

Will the winning score be over par?? Will Bubba flip out over the course layout?

Check out this video from Justin Thomas showing exactly what the pros will be dealing with if they miss the fairways and greens on Oakmont. Nothing will help you out of that rough unless you close your eyes and smack your 60 degree (that you never even take out of the bag). The trusty foot wedge won’t even help you here.

Greens are rolling at about a 13.5-14.5 this week – are you fuckin kidding me? Might as well practice putting on an ice rink.

It's pretty hilarious but sad to note Oakmont has already taken its first casualty of the tournament. Chris Crawford’s (+250,000 – and yes that says +250,000) caddy fell into a bunker today while Crawford and Jason Day were playing a practice round. Poor dude broke his ankle falling back into the bunker trying to get out. All is well, as the Steelers medical staff was on hand and he was taken to a local hospital.

Please pour some out on the course this weekend for a homie and for the impending fate of these golfers this weekend.

Needless to say, the U.S. Open is an amazing tournament and is always stacked with talent. While Berger (+7000) took home the W last weekend, Day (+650), Rory (+700) and Spieth (+800) were resting up and getting ready to make this course their bitch. Day has finished twice as a runner-up here since 2011, Rory has won (2011), and Spieth has won (2015). You know putting is going to be HUGE – don’t sleep on Phil (+2800) and Dustin Johnson (+1200) to follow up great tourney outings at St. Jude Classic and put the pressure on the favorites this week.

I am seriously giddy for the shit that’s going to go down this weekend. You know something crazy is going to happen and you know there will be some sneaky golfers on the prowl.
