Analysis:

Playoffs!? We're talking about playoffs!? Yes, Jim Mora, we're talking about playoffs here at Brofessional Golfer. The sloping Black Course at Bethpage will kick off the playoff festivities. This course, which provides "beauty and strategy," was the home of the 2002 and 2009 U.S. Open (won by Tiger Woods and Lucas Glover).

Let's face it, do you even know who has won the FedEx playoffs recently? I'll rattle them off starting with most recently: Spieth, Billy Horschel, Henrik Stenson, Brandt Snedeker, Bill Haas, Jim Furyk, Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, and Tiger Woods.

The next four tour events are considered the FedEx Cup playoffs. There are 2,000 FedEx points up for grabs as opposed to the usual 500 points. Usually it takes a win in one of these final events to grab hold of the FedEx Cup crown.

Who will start the playoffs with a win this year? Well the real winner has to be the city of Farmingdale. Every time I come here it gets harder to leave. I bet they put something to the water. On a serious note, is anyone still betting on Rory McIlroy? Stop it. The guy is 9/1 odds but who in their right mind will take that? He'll probably win this week cause I said that. Go ahead bet him. He sucks. There I said it. He's also near the top of the FedEx Cup odds at 10/1. Not sure how. Glad you're hanging out with McGregor cause there's no point working on your golf game this week.

Sorry about that. Need to adjust the meds… JDay is the favorite this week at 6/1. Have you heard that before?? Yes, yes you have. Always a lovely choice but hasn't won since the Players in May. Riding into the playoffs with the lead as well as 7/2 odds (good for 2nd).

21-year-old Si-Woo Kim is coming in hot off a win at the Wyndham last weekend. 65/1 odds for Kim. Any relation to Anthony Kim? Or Byung Hyun Kim? Or Kim Mathers?

Dustin Johnson has finally put all his tools together in his toolbelt. He's having his best season on tour. Vegas thinks so too. He is the 5/1 odds on favorite to win the FedEx Cup this season. A FedEx Cup victory includes a girthy $10 million prize. I don't know who Dusty blackmailed up in heaven but the guy has it all going for him now.

I'm sure you're wondering, what about 2009 champ Lucas Glover? 130/1 this week.

Other Notable FedEx Cup Playoff Odds:

Stenson 7/1

Speith 10/1

Scott 20/1

Reed 25/1

Mickelson 25/1

Fowler 30/1

Rose 30/1

Watson 30/1

Koepka 40/1

Kuchar 40/1

Berger 80/1
